yea.. last night went to syco concert..saw some nan hua co juniors, emily blah blah... well, the concert was damn good...started off with a powerpoint presentation of the old syco and the present syco, saw alot of pics. got one i tink is guo lao shi, when he was a teenager i tink..haha. saw lin lao teenager's photo too, haha, too bad joyce wasnt there..After dat they present some token of appreciations to some ppl, then the emcee explained the logo of syco blah blah..then fianlly the concert begins!! the first song was called overture, abit disappointed cos the conductor is tsung yeh, not guo lao shi..But they played damn well..the dynamic change, da xiao sheng realli done v well. got one song.. tink is called fei tian, got one dizi part realli damn spooky, v high-pitched..then they play chun tian zu qu..and the conductor is guo ling qiang!!!! my conductor.. wow.. i realli feel that guo lao shi's conducting skills have improved tremendously.. damn pro.. their chun tian zu qu was chao hao ting and v fast, dunoe how many million times nicer than the one njco plays.realli can feel the sense of gan dong-ness when guo lao shi conducts.. then when they play tian shan, im going thru the fingerings when guo lao shi is conducting..haha Then after the interval, its the soloists' turn to perform. the erhu guy was damn good... wa... can foresee him becuming the future SCO member.but then he anyhow sign my book..damn..he wasnt even looking at the page when he sign lor.. then there was tis sheng guy.. damn pro also, he blow the sheng until chao hao ting..currently the woodwind player of SAFCO and sheng sectional principal of SYCO (according to the prog book)..if joyce was there last nite, i bet she will fell in love wif the sheng guy..hahah, tink he will be joyce's idol..he oso nt bad looking lar..i got his signature..his chinese signature nt bad..at least he help to sign his entire chinese character name for me =D wang peng bin..nice name..then he hand over the booklet for me properly then smile somemore..lalala...muahaha..well, tink guys wif proper music xiu yang is better..yea.. then after dat is the combined concert of syco and sco, wow...it was damn good lor... so envious of them.. when they walked out rite, it was like 1 sco member accompanied wif 1 syco member, like shi fu-disciple.. The combined concert is chao hao ting, the composers has integrated the voices of the performers into the composition, then the effect is v good lor...After dat is encore, the songs oso quite nice, but i was expecting another song, the one dat me and joyce always heard when we go for sco concerts... Well, realli v envious of them, belonging to the esteemed syco that has guo lao shi as their conductor..Haizz, i wont be able to make it to syco.. my skills so lan, i bet during the audition i will be asked to leave after 10s..muahaha..so i wont go there to make a fool out of myself.. How i wish i can be one of them..haizz, tink wait long long oso wont haf the chance one.. Hmm, saw alot of familiar faces during the concert, like xinyu's pipa teacher hou lao, joyce's sheng teacher lin lao, er hu teacher zhang bin, njco zhu lin..sian diao..but luckily nan hua new conductor huang wen cai was not there, felt like bashing him up.. he sux..but didnt see feng lao, peng lao, lin lao though he was in the concert cos he was hiding behind the di yin sheng...oh ya, then i saw some familiar names in the booklet, a dizi guy and william loo!! the name sounds v familiar, he's the v ji dong guy frm seng kang. Last time sec 3 i went to skco concert then everyone rems tis william loo cos he was damn ji dong.. hahaa, guo lao shi even said he wanna use knots to tie him up cos he moves too much le..muahaha tink last nite he was even much more ji dong than 2 yrs ago during the skco concert. His movement super big..haha, he can be the next guo ling qiang..muahahah...then got a Malay guy in the perc oso, i saw him before too, during the shi cheng encore concert... Finally is the autography session,tsung yeh, guo lao shi, the erhu and sheng soloist. Well, abit paiseh dun dare to ask for the signature..but in the end still go and get lar..haha.. then when it was guo lao shi's turn to sign, i tink he sort of rem me lar becos he so long nv see me oso, abt 1 yr le..haha not bad, got guo lao shi autograph..hope next time can see guo lao shi again..guo lao shi, u rocks~~=D |
